RECALL HOA DIRECTORS

Petition to Recall Shane Patrick Connolly & Ron Rickard

Shane Patrick Connolly and Ron Rickard are the longest-serving members of the Willow Glen Creek HOA Board. But under their extended leadership, nothing has meaningfully improved. Costs have continued to rise, while service quality has steadily declined.

Landscaping, maintenance, communication, and basic enforcement have all declined. Yet each year, Owners are expected to pay more. Rather than seeking smarter, more effective ways to manage the community, the Board continues to operate on autopilot. Under the leadership of Shane Patrick Connolly and Ron Rickard, the Association has embraced a “this is how we’ve always done it” mindset: a clear marker of stagnation, complacency, and misplaced priorities.

The truth is, the Board is not being held accountable.

  • Director rules violations. Directors are knowingly violating the rules and not holding themselves accountable.
  • Unequal enforcement of the rules. While Directors are in violation of the rules, they are enforcing the same rules against Owners and residents. This cannot be allowed to happen.
  • Mismanagement of HOA vendors. The management company is making mistakes without meaningful action by the Board.

Our management company appears more interested in protecting the status quo than delivering results, often offering weak explanations for why basic operational inefficiencies go unaddressed. The management company is operating this way because they have become too comfortable, too complacent having been part of this community for so long. That’s not acceptable, and it's time for a change.

By recalling the two named directors, we send a clear message:

  • Homeowners are paying attention.
  • Homeowners are engaged.
  • And, this Board cannot continue to operate unchecked and out of step with the needs of the community.

Ready to take action?

Let’s restore accountability and demand the leadership this community deserves.
